Biography Wallace prefers to focus his efforts on the more traditional elements of songwriting: lyrics, vocals, and acoustic guitar. By contrast, Barker prefers a sample-driven electronic atmosphere in which to write his music - combining punchy bass lines with sweeping synth pads and complex drum patterns. Barker applies the same serendipitous approach to his music production as he does his graphical art, piecing together unlikely combinations and then refining the results. He sees the music as a sketchbook where emotions can develop and have free reign over ordinary musical schemes. The result is an addictive album, and one that's musically simple but at the same time acoustically rich. This is a 'grower': the more you listen, the more you'll hear.
